According on the report the two firms which are the Taiwan-based and a Chinese company had been found infringing the HP inkjet cartridge.
The International Trade Commission (ITC) agreed with the owner, determining that the Asia Pacific Microsystems or APM, a subsidiary of Taiwan-based United Microelectronics company, violates HP copyrights by selling and manufacturing inkjet printheads. With the same issue the ITC also ruled that MicroJet Technology and PTC Holdings Limited, Chinese companies that both violates the HP rights by manufacturing and selling inkjet printer cartridges.

He also said "HP is pleased with the outcome on these matters and the ITC's enforcement of intellectual property rights".
